Problem Attitude - Luck

27% of all Americans believe that winning the lottery is the only way they'll ever earn $500,000. True odds say that is ridiculous, however. The average player spends $150 a year on the lottery, according to the 1998 National Survey on Gambling. If that same money were instead invested conservatively, a 21-year-old would be guaranteed to have that money by retirement age.

What does luck really get you? Trouble.
